Event Rider, Tamsin Drew, joins the Horse Rider Hub
Tamsin Drew, is an amateur event rider, who works full time for an Investment Bank whilst jugging her busy eventing calendar.
Tamsin owns one horse, Isn’t It Special (stable name Kate), 9 year old KWPN by SJ stallion Numero Uno. Tamsin and Kate have progressed over the last 2 years to both British Show Jumping 1.15m level and British Eventing Novice level. With 3 completed Novice runs and 3 Double Clears, they are currently aiming to qualify for the Festival of British Eventing at Gatcombe in August 2022 (Topspec Challenge Corinthian Cup), as well as aiming for the British Eventing Novice Masters series with 2 qualifications.
Together they are looking to have a successful Spring Campaign with the target of short 2* FEI in the summer and Autumn aim of Osberton 3 day (FEI 2* long format).
Tamsin had a successful 2021, winning the British Showjumping Discovery Second Rounds and 6th place at the British Showjumping National Championships out of a class of 60 with a double clear, as well as qualifying for the British Showjumping Bluechip Winter Championships where they had a successful show. Also moving up to British Eventing Novice level with double clears and placing.
